We hired Julie do wall treatments and trim on our huge, living room with a high-ceiling, our dining room and the entry way. WE LOVE HOW THEY TURNED OUT. She even ended up faux painting our indoor columns with a black Italian plaster and gold leaf finish that looks like they are expensive marble instead of wood! Everything we ending up choosing to do were Julie’s ideas. (She even plays a wonderful “referee” between husband and wife, who have trouble agreeing on these decorating decisions!) Julie is absolutely full of creative ideas and options. We loved her positive, can-do attitude about obstacles! Julie has worked for me on two separate occasions, and in different areas of my home. She painted my fairly large kitchen in an old world style, with warm Tuscan colors. This room was painted nearly 5 years ago and I still love the warmth and beauty of its walls. Within the last two years, Julie used a shimmering plaster and wax finish to create a 12’x30′ feature wall in my living room. It is so stunning with the metallic luster finish, I have yet to put any artwork on the large wall. All my guests complement Julie’s work. We have really enjoyed working with Julie on some of the finishing touches for our house. She has done several projects for us and we love them all! She came to us with many ideas for each project and was able to show us sample boards for each idea. It allowed us to explore different ideas and visualize the final look. She was willing to try different colors and many different styles. She was also very aware of our budget and gave us options that would help us manage that. When Julie works on a project she is very neat and cleans up every day so we never felt burdened. She was always a joy to work with!
